Terms of Service
Last updated: May 9, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Mission Morse. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these Terms without reservation.
1. Service publisher
The Mission Morse service ("the Service") is published and operated by SASU MILOU, available at missionmorse.com and missionmorse.app.
- Publisher: SASU MILOU
- Contact: mail@missionmorse.com
- Hosting: Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut CA 91789, USA
- Database: Supabase, hosted in the European Union
2. Purpose of the service
Mission Morse is a pedagogical web app to learn Morse code through lessons, quizzes, narrative missions, and a gamification system (XP, levels, badges, leaderboards). The Service is available in French and English, in browsers and as an installable PWA.
Part of the content (chapters 1 to 5, alphabet, numbers, leaderboard, quizzes) is free. Some features (advanced chapters, story mode, chapter bosses, certificates, premium avatars) require Premium access.
3. Access to the service
Access to the Service requires a compatible device (modern browser), an internet connection for synchronization, and a user account. Mission Morse offers two access modes:
- Guest mode: no email required, progress tied to the device. Progress can be migrated to an authenticated account.
- Authenticated account: passwordless sign-in via magic link sent by email.
4. Account creation and security
You warrant that the information provided when creating your account is accurate. The account is strictly personal; you are responsible for the confidentiality of access to your inbox (magic links allowing sign-in). Any use of the Service via your account is deemed performed by you.
The Service is open to anyone. For minors, use must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
5. Premium and payments
Mission Morse offers two Premium plans:
- Lifetime Premium: one-time purchase of €4.99 incl. tax, granting permanent access to Premium content.
- Subscription Premium: automatic renewal at the chosen frequency. The subscription can be cancelled at any time from the management area; access remains active until the end of the paid period.
6. Right of withdrawal and refund
In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU (transposed in France via article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code), the purchase of digital content delivered immediately after confirmation entails waiver of the 14-day right of withdrawal, subject to your express consent at the time of purchase.
The full terms (goodwill refund cases, subscriptions, double billing) are set out in the Refund Policy.
7. User conduct
By using the Service, you agree not to:
- Attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you
- Bypass technical protections, mass-scrape, or exploit the Service for commercial purposes without written consent
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to inflate XP, badges, streak, or leaderboard ranking
- Use a codename that is offensive, obscene, racist, or harmful to third parties
8. Intellectual property
The source code, design, visual identity, narrative missions, illustrations and Mission Morse trademark are the exclusive property of the publisher or its licensors, protected by copyright and trademark law.
The Morse alphabet, Q-codes, and prosign glossary — common heritage — are published under a Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 license on the /morse-alphabet, /q-codes, and /morse-prosigns pages, and may be reused with attribution.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". The publisher endeavours to ensure maximum availability but does not guarantee absence of interruption, bug, or data loss. The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages (loss of progress, loss of opportunity, commercial loss).
Mission Morse is a consumer educational tool and does not replace official training for regulated uses (amateur radio, marine, aviation). The user remains solely responsible for compliance of their radio transmissions with applicable regulations.
10. Suspension and termination
The publisher reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in case of breach of these Terms, without notice or refund of the unused portion. You may delete your account at any time; details are in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to the Terms
These Terms may change. The applicable version is the one online at the time of use. Any substantial change will be notified by email or via an in-app banner.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, any dispute will be brought before the competent French courts. Consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform free of charge: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
